               Asian and Oceanian High School Students’ Forum In Japan.


Young representatives from 20 Asian and Oceanian countries came to Japan for the Asian and Oceanian High School Students’ Forum2016, giving 
 presentations and discussions with Japanese students.The forum was held from 1st August to 4th August by the Wakayama Prefectural Government of Japan at the Wakayama Prefectural Cultural Hall, aiming to enhance friendships and cooperation among Asian and Oceanic countries.

The Asian and Oceanian High School Students’ Forum 2016 provides a chance for the invited youths to exchange their experiences and opinions in several fields, focusing on disaster prevention, environmental issues, tourism and culture, international affairs, and IT and communication.
Starting from last year, jointly organized with ERIA, the Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia, the forum also attempts to develop the young students’ insights and connect them with other countries by means of cultural exchange, preparing them for active participation in a diverse and international society.
